TWINCORE team participates in Hannover Marathon

Relay team comes in at rank 536

Yesterday was the ADAC Hannover Marathon and TWINCORE was there. For the first time, a team from the junior research group Translational Virology ran the enercity relay marathon, wearing running shirts in the TWINCORE design. 

With a time of 4:06:53, the relay team achieved a respectable 536th place out of over 800 teams that took part!

Antibodies produced following the Ebola vaccination neutralise the current Bundibugyo virus variant

A team of researchers from Hamburg, Berlin, Göttingen and Hannover has provided evidence of possible cross-protection offered by an already authorised Zaire Ebola virus vaccine.

The two lead authors, Dr Metodi Stankov and Dr Matthias Bruhn, in the TWINCORE laboratory.
