€100,000 from the German Society for Parkinson's Disease and Movement Disorders
On 3 April, it was Future Day again for boys and girls at TWINCORE.

On this year's Future Day, we once again opened our laboratory doors to schoolchildren with an interest in infection research. Eight children between the ages of 10 and 15 took the opportunity to gain an insight into our day-to-day research.
After being welcomed by our Managing Director Ulrich Kalinke, they were given a guided tour of the technical centre by Ingo Wiesenberg, head of our facility management. The children then had the opportunity to meet Junior Professor Yannic Bartsch and ask him questions about his career and everyday working life.
Then it was finally time for the practical part in the laboratory. Under the expert guidance of two technical assistants from the Institute for Experimental Infection Research, the youngsters were given a practical introduction to infection research.
We have already made a note of next year's Future Day on 23 April 2026.
