13 June 2013 Argentinean-Chilean delegation visits TWINCORE
High-profile guests from Argentina and Chile have informed themselves at 13th of June 2013 about TWINCORE and our South America initiatives. The delegation consisted of ten representatives including science-promoters, politicians, political advisers and representatives from the academia. They were guided through "Science and Technology" in the north of Germany by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs. "This visit at TWINCORE has shown the importance of joint efforts in science and education. Not only for us, but also for the Argentinean and Chilean government", says Dr. Luciana Berod, project manager of AMIBA, the German-Argentinean master program. Just within the last few years, science has developed rapidly in South America, underlines the scientist, "and we are pleased to be part of this progress with our master program." The development of the binational master program AMIBA is supported by the German-Argentinean academic network DAHZ-CUAA. The first binational programs are presently being inaugurated - among them a Max-Planck project just during this delegation visit.
