About
Freya Rosenberg wrote her bachelor's thesis on the growth and phycocyanin production of Galdieria sulphuraria and completed her bachelor's degree in biotechnology at the Brandenburg University of Technology Cottbus-Senftenberg in 2019. She then completed her Master's degree in Molecular Microbiology at the Gottfried Wilhelm Leibniz Universität Hannover. She completed her master's thesis in 2022 at the Institute for Molecular Bacteriology at TWINCORE, focusing on the genotype-based prediction of phenotypic antibiotic resistance in bacterial pathogens.
Since May 2022, she has been doing her doctorate in the research group of Prof Susanne Häußler. In her dissertation, she is investigating the variability of Pseudomonas aeruginosa antigen profiles in cystic fibrosis patients and is using ORFeome phage display and next-generation sequencing (NGS) to identify the antigens.
