Two exciting days of science and networking with more than 150 participants
On 18 and 19 September, we hosted the TWINCORE & SLS Europe Joint Symposium 2025. Over two days, experts from basic research and the pharmaceutical industry met to discuss current challenges and opportunities in translating laboratory findings into real‑world applications.
Our partners at SLS Europe contributed valuable pharmaceutical expertise, demonstrating how industry and basic research can collaborate to accelerate innovation. The programme included talks by TWINCORE researchers and internationally recognized speakers, including Jannick Prentø, Joe Grove, Zahra Raisi‑Estabragh and Mathias Heikenwelder.
A particular highlight was the panel discussion with Asisa Volz, Agustin Fernandez III, Christian Kannemeier and Thomas Pietschmann, which focused on the impact of global policy shifts on pharmaceutical innovation.
