TWINCORE commemorates member of the Board of Clinical Cooperation Partners

TWINCORE mourns the loss of colleague and friend Prof. Dr Tobias Welte, who passed away unexpectedly on 10 March 2024. Tobias Welte was a world-renowned expert in respiratory infections. He was a member of our Board of Clinical Cooperation Partners. His support and advice helped TWINCORE to systematically and sustainably develop the strategic partnership between TWINCORE, the Helmholtz Centre for Infection Research (HZI) and Hannover Medical School (MHH). We have lost a clever, unagitated and humorous colleague who was always an important advisor to us. Our deepest thoughts are with his family.
