About

Frauke Lange completed her biology degree at the Gottfried Wilhelm Leibniz Universität Hannover in 2018 and then transferred to the Hannover Medical School for her Master's degree in Biomedicine. For her Master's thesis, which she wrote at the Institute for Experimental Virology, she focussed on the interferon (IFN)-dependent innate immune response to hepatitis D virus (HDV) in stem cell-derived hepatocytes. She started her PhD thesis in 2022, focussing on IFN-independent control of HDV infection in the same cell model.
